On a generous block on Sydney’s North Shore, this Roseville garden has been transformed into a sophisticated retreat designed for entertaining, relaxing and everyday life. The new landscape unfolds as a series of connected outdoor spaces, with level lawns, expansive stone terraces and dedicated areas for cooking, dining and lounging. At the centre of the entertaining space, a built-in stone fireplace provides warmth, atmosphere and a strong architectural focal point, allowing the garden to be enjoyed well beyond the warmer months.
The existing pool was carefully reshaped and renovated to sit more naturally within the broader landscape, improving circulation and creating generous areas for poolside lounging. The addition of a wide swimout section and broad entry steps along with an integrated spa brings a complete sense of resort-style luxury. Mature trees and layered planting soften the architectural elements, giving the garden a calm, established character and creating a seamless balance between structure, greenery and open space.
