Landscape Construction Sydney
Our construction division is one of the most awarded in Sydney. What’s more, due to the fact that we are in constant communication with our landscape design team, our Director of Construction will ensure the integrity of your beautiful new landscape design is maintained throughout the construction process.
A communication channel remains open throughout the entirety of your project. This ensures consistency and enables the whole team (Design & Construction) to remain involved throughout the works – including any ‘tweaks or changes’ along the way. This maximizes the integrity of the design and minimizes compromises due to rushed on-site decisions.
Our construction teams work with and manage a tight team of specialist trades and sub-contractors who understand the importance of our Construction Programs and our attention to detail.
Taking on the challenge of difficult sites
Landscape construction in challenging or hard-to-reach areas presents unique obstacles that require careful planning and innovative solutions. Overcoming these challenges often involves a combination of strategic design, manual labour, and specialised equipment to ensure the project’s success.
Our construction teams are not only skilled at creating beautiful, functional landscapes but have also built a reputation for being resourceful, inventive, and dedicated to transforming even the most difficult spaces into stunning, usable gardens. For us, tackling complex designs is a rewarding part of the creative process. The satisfaction of overcoming obstacles results in truly one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and enduring.
With extensive experience and a network of talented subcontractors, our team approaches each project with the confidence and expertise necessary to bring your design vision to life.
Connecting Outdoor spaces
In landscape construction, our goal is to create a seamless connection between various outdoor spaces, whether they serve recreational, aesthetic, or functional purposes. Our aim is to create a cohesive flow that integrates with the natural elements of the site while providing our clients with enduring usable spaces.
For example, these custom curved concrete stairs provide an elegant transition from the extended deck of the house to the newly renovated pool and pool surrounds below. The strategic use of native and exotic plants within the garden helps soften the structural features, blending this Killara garden with the surrounding natural bush environment.
Plants in the landscape
Starting with the right planting plan is key to achieving the best results in any garden project. Selecting the appropriate trees and plants is crucial for creating a visually pleasing, functional, and sustainable outdoor space. The ideal plant choices depend on factors such as climate, soil type, sun exposure, water availability, and your personal aesthetic preferences. At Fifth Season Landscapes, we understand the importance of integrating green spaces that complement and enhance the structural elements of the garden. Through careful planning and thoughtful preparation during the construction phase, we ensure that the garden thrives now and for many seasons to come.

Every landscaping job is unique. Some require approval from your local council and some may be carried out as an exempt development. At Fifth Season Landscapes we do our best to design within the exempt development rules so your design can come to life as quickly as possible – without the hassle and associated costs of dealing with council. If your design does require council approval, we can help manage the process to ensure you are supported from the beginning to the end.
Prior to beginning construction, the Fifth Season Design Team will engage in a detailed handover to both your dedicated Construction Manager and Site Manager. This handover ensures that intricate details are acknowledged and the construction takes place as per the design.

“Fifth Season we’re exceptionally professional through the whole design and build process. They listened to my needs, wants and tastes and came up with a really good design. The build was complicated and they discovered unexpected issues but it was managed exceptionally well and I was communicated with along the way. Management, trade specialists and general on site staff were great. I am very pleased with the outcome. Not the cheapest around but would definitely recommend for both peace of mind that’s it is done properly and quality of design and outcome.”
